The main application is gas turbine combined heat and power (CHP) / cogeneration. In this configuration heat recovery from the gas turbine exhaust improves plant efficiency to greater than 85%.

Centrax additionally supply and manufacture floating power plants, that incorporate the Siemens 501-KB7 and Trent 60 gas turbines. These turbines are used for a broad range of commercial applications including temporary or emergency power supplies.
